Additionally, we provide on-going, community-based support for family members.

Located in the heart of Windsor Ontario, Brentwood is a non-denominational recovery home that has served over 20,000 men and women primarily from Windsor and Essex County; however, clients come from all over Canada and the United States.
The facility is set on nine acres with three main buildings and a pavilion. It is staffed by 65 employees including certified counsellors and a full medical staff.

Before Brentwood we wanted people to conform to our ideas, our time, and our cause. Our minds were closed to new ideas or what people were trying to tell us. We were so full of self. All we knew was to take from them. There were conflicts and misunderstandings, a wall between us and them.
When we come to a place like Brentwood the recovery way is different. We have to conform to the program. We have to ask, listen, and do as we are told! Everything about us had to change, our ideas and our thinking. We have to put others first and our heart needs to be in it. It gets down to what we have to do in recovery to allow other people to help. This information is given to us for the transformation and change that will take place in our life, which has to become a way of life.
My commitment today in life is about helping others.
